Volunteering

Would you like to join our volunteers and help to improve people’s lives every single day of the year. The majority of our work is with former servicemen and women and their families.

This may range from obtaining financial assistance to getting special equipment for those with a disability. Or it may simply be giving friendly advice and support over a cup of tea.

Our volunteers in Shropshire work from home throughout Shropshire with administration being done in Shrewsbury and Telford.

Training ensures the highest standards of support and gives confidence to volunteers.

We provide full training appropriate to each role and cover all out of pocket expenses.

Whatever your skills, we will put them to very good use.

Right now, we need volunteers to help us with:

•Case-working – visiting our clients, assessing their needs and satisfying them.

•Fundraising – Collecting at supermarkets, the flower show and other venues.

•Administration – Manning the offices in Shrewsbury and Telford for 2-3 hours per week.
